Beauty is My Duty

It seems that everybody’s been crazy about the fashion looks that the girls have been sporting in their new music video. However, their make up and hair also caught my attention. Their looks are just as all out with their outfits and here are some of the elements that I’ve spotted:

1. Multicolored Hair

Colored Hair have been in since last year but in the video, it’s like all of them went to a unicorn paradise and came out from the rainbow carwash. LOL. What a description! But seriously, I liked how the stylist was able to set the girls’ hair into waves and had some members’ hairs dyed in different colors. If you want to have multicolored hair, you can temporarily have it done with some colored chalk! Yes, my dear friends… colored chalk! You just divide your hair into sections and use different colors to your preference!

2. Perfectly Winged Eyeliner

Koreans are very well known for their awesome eyeliner skills! I love how they were able to make their eyes look so gorgeous with just a hint of wing at the corners of their eyes. There’s nothing like a good gel eyeliner to do the trick for you. A coat of mascara and you’re done. Of course, if you want to make it look more dramatic, you can use falsies.

3. Sparkles, Shimmers and Colored Lenses

Some of the girls had some crystal accents and stars placed at the eye area. It kind of tones down the toughness of their streetwear and makes it look sweet and girly. They also used colored lenses to give more character to their looks. If you guys want to kick it up a notch, wear these contacts and it will definitely add more punch!

4. Touch Of Pink Sweetness

Throughout the video, I have seen them sport sweet pastel pink lips and ombre touches. I just loved how simple some of the make up looks are! If you want to put on fierce eye make up, tone down your lips with a more subtle color. In this case, you gotta love pink!

5. Braids

Aside from flirty waves and colored hair, some of the girls have braided do’s. From sidebraids to updos, this hairstyle technique will really bring more life to your look. I also liked the different hairbands that they’re wearing! I just love how it all looked!

6. Colorful Nails

SNSD are also famous for their nail art and in this video, they didn’t disappoint! I love how they wrote the title of the song on Seohyun’s nails to the super high-glossed finish of Jessica’s pink polish (I bet those were gel nails!). You can keep it simple just like Sica’s or you can be more adventurous and go with Seohyun’s!
