These natural hair color boosters are free from harsh chemicals and they are also safe to use at home. You can definitely get ingredients at your nearest grocery store. All you need is 1/2 cup of powdered cocoa, 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1 tsp of honey and 1 tsp of vinegar. Mix these ingredients together and then set aside.

Shampoo your hair and then towel dry it. Smooth the cocoa paste all over your hair, distributing it evenly. Make sure that you wrap a towel around your neck since the mixture can stain your skin. Let it stay on for two to three minutes and then rinse it off afterwards. The acids that are found in yogurt and vinegar will penetrate deep into the hair shaft which then allows the pigments in the cocoa to seep in. The honey is used to help keep your hair moisturized. This mixture will definitely keep your brunette hair lively and vibrant.

This mixture will help keep blonde hair in tip top shape. All you need is lemon, potato and tea. The acids in the lemon will help in seeping into the hair shaft. This lets the enzymes found in potato to sink in, giving your blonde hair a natural boost. The tea and lemon also acts as whitening agents, which gives life to your locks.

To make this color booster, you will need the juice  of one lemon, one grated raw potato and 1/2 cup of room temperature tea. Mix these ingredients to form a paste. After shampooing, massage this mixture all over the hair to evenly distribute it. Next, cover the hair using a shower cap or any plastic wrap. Blow dry the hair for 2 to 3 minutes. Rinse your hair afterwards and then style as usual.

Berries and carrots can help enhance copper or red toned hair. The berries contain such good substances that help in boosting the color of red hair.

To make this paste, mince 2 or 3 medium sized carrots (you may use a food processor), and then add 1/2 cup of finely chopped cranberries, 3 tablespoonfuls of plain yogurt and 1 tablespoon of honey. The honey will help keep your hair moist.

After shampooing, towel dry your hair, add this mixture and distribute all over your hair. Leave it on for 1 to 2 minutes and then rinse it off.
