Make Up: Romantic First-Date Looks
First dates can be a little nerve wracking sometimes because it’s like a make-it or break-it situation. First impressions last for some people, and it can be a little difficult to score a second chance. For us girls, it’s important to be at our best by not only looking good physically, but we must also show our endearing sides to our potential dates. I’m here to help you guys on the physical aspect, and here are some make up looks that you can try out!
MAKE UP: ROMANTIC FIRST-DATE LOOKS
Innocent And Sweet
A fresh dewy face and pinkie nude lips adds a feminine charm to your ensemble.
Face:
Start with a freshly cleaned and moisturized face. Using a little bit of BB Cream, distribute the product all over the face and make sure that it’s even. Use a concealer to hide dark circles, blemishes, or any spots that you want to cover and blend it well. After that, set your face with a little bit of translucent powder. Take a good eyebrow pencil and line your eyebrows.
Use a subtle shimmery eye shadow and apply it on your eyelids. Line your eyes with either a gel liner or a pencil liner (depending on your preference). You can also extend it out if you want a winged eyeliner. Try to keep the line as thin as possible. Tightline your eyes in order to create an illusion of fuller lashes. Don’t forget to line your lower lashes as well (use a brown pencil if you want a more natural look). Finish of with a couple of coats of mascara.
Cheeks and Lips:
Get a pinkish coral cream blush (if you don’t have one, use a matte powder blush instead) and dab a little bit of this color on the apples of your cheeks and then blend it out. The choice of your blush depends on your skin tone. Get warm tones for those who are warm toned, and cool tones for those who are cool toned. This will help create a much more natural flush on your cheeks!
As for lips, make sure that it’s already exfoliated beforehand. Apply lip balm first before moving on to lip color. After that, apply your favorite nude-pink shade. Add a touch of gloss to create more dimension.
Alluring in Smokes
Keep things mysterious and sexy with a good smokey eye make up!
Do the same procedure as above except for the eyes. Choose darker colors for your lids this time and pick the shades depending on your outfit. Browns, grays and blacks look great with anything. Smokey eyes are great for night looks.
Kissable Pop Of Color
If you want to showcase your lips instead of your eyes, go for a bold color such as reds, magentas and even orange! When you’re doing a bold lip, make sure that you wear light make up so as not to overwhelm your look.
