1. Potato Mask
Who says, mashed potatoes are only good for eating? Boil 2-3 potatoes, mash them thoroughly and add milk to form a paste. Apply the warm mixture on your hands and leave them on until they cool. Wash them off and apply your favorite hand cream or lotion.
2. Jelly Mask
If you have exposed your hands to too much detergent from washing loads of laundry, then this mask will be your best friend. Mix 40 ml of warm boiled water, 4 grams of cornmeal and 56 grams of glycerin. Apply on your skin and let them stay for 10 minutes and then rinse off.
3. Starch Mask
If you have inflamed skin, this mask will provide you with soothing benefits. Mash two jacket potatoes, then add 50ml of milk, and one teaspoonfull of olive oil. Apply this micture on your hands and put on some cotton gloves. Leave this on for at least ten minutes and then rinse it off.
4. Oat Flour Mask
This mask is great for those of you who have hands that are really dry. Mix together 6 tablespoons of oat flour, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of milk, and 2 teaspoons of honey. Apply this mixture on your hands and leave them on for 30 minutes. Rinse them off with warm water.
5. Olive Oil
One of the most simplest and cheapest homemade hand masks uses only one ingredient: Olive Oil. Apply some olive oil on your hands, put on some cotton gloves and leave them on overnight. Once you wake up in the morning, apply some hand cream and you will see that your hands are amazingly soft, supple and well moisturized.
